Black Duck started in 2008 as an artists' meeting point after cinema or theatrical performances in the broader area of the historic centre and spreading its wings embraced even the city's most demanding friends/travellers.

An all-day hangout spot in the centre of Athens (9a Christos Lada str.), an elegant, multi-level space with a café and bar on the ground floor, a restaurant on the upper floor, and a gallery in the basement, entirely changing to cover all ideas and needs.

With attentive and affordable food, The Black Duck's "kitchen" is characterised by a Mediterranean spirit based on selected pure ingredients. The primary menu is enriched by the day's dishes, with many flavours in both main dishes and salads and sweets.
The selected l list of wines with numerous labels of Greek producers accompanies each selection.
The fun part comes as the evening comes, while the barman suggests inspired new Black Duck signature cocktails. DJs compose the soundtrack of a unique evening from a vast collection of international and Greek discography.

The gallery in the basement hosts exhibitions of painting and photography, thematic musical evenings, theatrical performances, and book presentations every week.
