Ionic Center
Occupying a prime location, just a few steps from Syntagma square and the centre of Athens, in the heart of the beautiful city of Plaka, the Ionic Center is organized to welcome the guests unpretentious - and through a combination of professional care and function to enable them to conduct their event with ease and success.
The Ionic Center welcomes other organizations, foundations, corporations and individuals to use the premises for their special events.
The Ionic Center at Plaka is housed in a fully equipped storey of a 1,000 square meters neoclassical building, which in an atmosphere of luxurious simplicity coexists with stylish functionality. The building features flexible spaces and is designed to combine their use with maximum functionality.
With the spirit of offering citizenship and cooperation for achieving the broader cultural objectives, the Ionic Center gladly put these places and services available to other institutions and individuals for the organization and their events and tasks.
The Ionic Center offers the following halls, spaces and services for events:
- Reception and Secretariat Support
- Press and Preview Room
- Lobby for presentations, receptions - IONIA up to 100 people standing - or up to 140 seated for dinner
- Conference Room, Speeches, Interviews - AERIDES up to 100 seats, with a simultaneous translation system
- Exhibition Hall, seminars - APELLIS 100 seats, expandable to the Terrace
- Halls for individual meetings
- Library - Reading Place
- Art and Book Shop
- Cafe-Restaurant - EPICUREOUS
- DOMA-Loft overlooking the Erechtheion and the Acropolis
- THEOREIO for receptions of up to 100 people standing and 140 seated or
- ATRIUM, with a capacity of 60 people
There is metro and train transportation and easy access by car, surrounded by parking lots and Private Parking.
